FIELD STUDY by TOM BROWN

This field study is an original oil painting on an 8x6 inch primed Multi-Media paper. The painted area measures 6x4 inches. An unpainted bright white border remains on all sides of the painted area as shown. This painting was created exclusively with rich, colorful strokes of oil paints. I often create field studies this way to capture the truth of a subject in a way that a camera cannot.
