"A CLASSIC VIEW" by Tom Brown
This painting measures approximately 20 inches wide, painted on unstretched canvas. I painted it as a demonstration piece during a plein air workshop I conducted in southern California this morning. We set up our easels at the intersection of Irvine Blvd. and Classic Avenue, hence the title. Sadly this view will be gone very shortly. Construction has already begun that will completely obscure this scene. We felt fortunate to be able to capture it on canvas before it disappears forever. This painting will not be auctioned on eBay.
