SMALL TOWN BARBER SHOP, CITY LANDSCAPE
6x6 original oil painting
SOLD
This quaint little shop with fliers and ads in the window reminded of Floyd’s barber shop in the fictional town of Mayberry. It had the friendly feeling of a bygone era when the barber shop was a place to trade gossip and visit with other local townspeople.

Brings back memories. In 1954 even Anaheim was a small town (about 12,000 population then). The barbershop was men's magazines, brass spitoons and the smell of toilet water. Too impatient for a barber I've been curring my own for 30 years. Very nice painting.
