I want my paintings to communicate the feeling of the moment. Sometimes mellow and serene. Sometimes loaded with energy like this one. I want them to touch your soul, like beautiful music or good writing.

I look for the big shapes of color and value, and try to get just enough information to tell the story while leaving the rest to the viewer’s imagination. I was pleased with this one; I hope you agree.
