I have had the good fortune to observe the green ray on three separate occasions. This is a rare optical phenomenon that occurs at the moment of sunset when a green spot is visible for a second or two at the point of sunset. If you are not familiar with this you may want to search online for more information. It is truly a breath taking experience to witness it.
