The entire scene changes quickly in the final moments before the sun sinks below the horizon, and then everything goes gray and colorless. Paintings done on site directly from nature (en plein air) seem to capture the true spirit of the subject and it shows in finished paintings like this 5x7 painting done on site.
I named this painting “LIVING IN THE MOMENT.”
