This painting was done while I was standing on the sidewalk across the street from this view, using my small pochade paint box. It was a Sunday morning and the street was fairly deserted; a perfect time to paint on location. As I painted this the old Kris Kristofferson song "Sunday Morning Coming Down" kept running through my mind.
