This palette knife painting was created with rich color and texture to add sparkle and life to the painting. I thought it would also be interesting to show a photo here of the easel I use when painting outdoors (en plein air).

When painting on location I always like to travel light and carry the minimum amount of equipment I need. This lightweight easel fits on a standard camera tripod, and holds my paints and painting, making it very comfortable to work outdoors directly from Nature.
