Freeways have diverted traffic from the old blacktop road this station sits beside. The concrete apron in front is now cracked and overgrown with weeds. An abandoned car sits rusting out in front of the pumps.

It’s a disappearing part of our American landscape, and I enjoy preserving memories like this as a reminder of a time when life was more relaxed and moved at a slower pace. I hope you enjoy this one too.
