A plein air study is often more honest than a photo. The
camera couldn’t really capture the rich colors of this farm at sunset. But here
I was able to emphasize the warmth of golden sunlight washing across the
fields. And I enhanced the colors of the sky and slightly raised the mountains
to make them more visible. (Artists can move mountains.) The result is actually
more true to life than the photo. Click
HERE if you would
like to own this little beauty. It’s a 5x7 inch original oil painting priced at
just $35.
