PLEIN AIR STUDY by TOM BROWN

This study was done simply for my own pleasure, painted with oils on cardboard. I thought it might be interesting to include a location photo, my quick pencil sketch of the big shapes, and the finished study while it was still clipped on my pochade box. These small studies are a great way to record the essence of a scene when inspiration strikes. I sometimes use them along with photos when creating larger studio works. Enjoy!
