HOW I PAINTED THIS by TOM BROWN

I often like to paint on Bristol panels when doing quickies like this. It’s less expensive than canvas or a hardboard panel, and because of that it encourages freedom. It’s not so “precious”. If it doesn’t work out I just pitch it. But if it’s a “keeper” I can easily frame it. And they last. I have many on my walls that are decades old and they look like the day they were painted. This is an original oil painting on a 4x6-inch Bristol panel, available HERE at auction if you’d like to bid.
