PENCIL STUDY by TOM BROWN

Just came across this pencil rendering I did on location decades ago. Back then I painted in a very tight photo-realistic style, and often did highly detailed studies like this on location as preparation. This was long before digital cameras existed. As a side effect of doing so many of these renderings I began offering them in the galleries carrying my work, and they sold remarkably fast. This is one of the few I kept. I thought it would be interesting to post this all these years later.
