CLOUDSCAPE by TOM BROWN
I love painting with the palette knife. Setup is instant; I merely open my little travel paintbox, grab a knife and dive in. That makes it possible to capture a fleeting moment like this. The clouds were moving swiftly and I didn’t want to miss that. Plus shadows from the clouds were sweeping over the landscape, rapidly approaching the spot where I was painting. That would have changed the light and color of everything. This one went quickly before the light changed and I was pleased with how it turned out. Hope you like it too.
