I painted this as a demo for a workshop I taught before the need for masks and social distancing. Pleasant memories.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Tom Brown is an American artist and Workshop Instructor. He hosted his own TV show teaching his unique style of oil painting in the studio and on location (plein air painting).
     He continues to teach other artists how to paint through sold-out oil painting workshops and downloadable art instruction eBooks and Video tutorials.
     Tom’s California Impressionist plein air landscapes, figures, portraits and still life paintings have been represented through prominent galleries for more than 20 years.
     Feature articles about his work have appeared in leading international art publications like Paint & Draw, as well as numerous newspaper feature articles.
     His work can also be seen in leading art publications like Southwest Art, Art & Antiques, American Art Review, American Art Collector, and Art Calendar.
     Tom’s paintings are in corporate collections including the City of Irvine, Sears, Standard Oil, and Coca Cola.
     Tom Brown is a former president of the Orange Art Association and past member of the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association and Southern California Plein Air Painters Association.       
     On his Daily Painter blog he offers affordable small original oil paintings to introduce his work to new and ongoing collectors.
     Much of his work these days is done on a private commission basis, and he welcomes inquiries.
