I wanted to capture the overall effect of this location, so I kept it loose and avoided all the fussy detail. Well, almost all. You’ll see a few branches and such near the base of the big tree. And some individual leaves and a few other details. But the overall effect is what I was after; the warm foliage in the foreground and the cooler leaves in the background on the right side of the picture. I call this “painting very carefully with reckless abandon;” a delicate balance to achieve! Hope you like it.
