A quick study done during a brief visit to La Jolla. I couldn’t resist! This is an oil study on paper. The painted image is approximately 3x5 inches on a page that measures 7x9.5 inches. Studies like this aren’t done with the intention to sell them. They’re done for personal pleasure (to capture the spirit of the moment). Or to gather information for future studio work. But when a little charmer like this happens I sometimes like to share it as-is. Frequently collectors of my work love these little jewels as much as I do, and they often frame them for permanent display. Hope you like it too.
