MAGICAL IMPRESSIONIST OIL PAINTING BY TOM BROWN

“A BIT OF MAGIC”
8x6 inch original oil painting
by Tom Brown

The paint itself is the real subject of this painting. Delicious strokes of rich, juicy oil colors. Some strokes are silky smooth and soft. Other brush strokes are crisp and clean, creating an interesting symphony of textures on the surface of the painting.

Viewed up close the strokes of paint appear almost abstract. But when the painting is viewed from a distance, a dazzling landscape emerges. It’s like a bit of magic.

Sometimes I like to skip the details and go right for the FEELING of the subject. That was the case with this little jewel.

It is amazing that up close, it does look abstract. Beautiful colors and very nice piece of art.
