I filmed a new segment for the TV show recently, where I painted high in Limestone Canyon near an area known as "Little Grand Canyon."
It is a fantastic location in a very remote wilderness area that is generally off-limits to the general population. A park ranger took us up into the area in a 4 wheel drive vehicle (and we NEEDED all 4 wheels churning away to get there)! The ranger went out of his way to assist us in many ways, and we were very grateful.
A family of mountain lions lives in the area, so the ranger was along to help watch our backs while we filmed. About 50 feet from where I painted we also found two rattlesnake skins that had been shed, so we were careful about where we stepped as well.
Interestingly, we had to cross a major fault line to reach our location and while we were in the canyon an earthquake occurred!
All in all, it was quite a day but well worth the trip! Thanks for stopping to look; I hope you enjoy the view.
Today’s thought to smile about:
People who go out of their way to be helpful

Hi Tom, that sounds like quite an adventure! Four wheeling, evidence of rattlesnakes, then an earthquake!
Do you know where and when your television show will be aired? I haven't missed any yet have I?
