This is a small study painted at Newport Beach this past weekend during a Plein Air workshop I conducted for other artists. These colorful beach umbrellas caught my eye. They were set up beside the base of the pier and lifeguard station. It was a clear, sunny day – perfect beach weather and perfect Plein Air painting weather! Wish you were there!
