I painted this in the cozy warmth of a studio, from photos taken by an artist friend during a recent cruise in Alaska. (I prefer to stay warm.)

This one was really fun to paint, especially since I could work in a cozy studio rather than outdoors in the freezing cold where this scene was photographed.
