COVER PAINTING FROM TOM BROWN ART BOOK

Today I wanted to share the cover painting on my new art book, which was filmed for TV as I created it on location (the video is now available).

The subject is an aircraft control tower along a runway on the former El Toro Marine Base. As I painted it, the building was being demolished to make way for a huge public park.

It was an historic moment. While this base was in operation every US president in office landed here in Air Force One. The demolition of this tower marked the end of an era.

Click this link to preview a portion of the book. http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/1786423
