HARBOR, BOAT, SEA GULLS, TOM BROWN PLEIN AIR ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING

The little boat was named "Gullible" and it seemed to be a fitting name when this flock of gulls found something tasty that was stored in the boat.

A wild feeding frenzy ensued. The air was filled with ear-piercing screeches as gulls vied for the best treat. I was painting at the edge of the harbor when this occurred, and I quickly painted this record of the experience.

The air seemed filled with a single massive blur of wings, and that's the feeling I tried to capture in this painting. Hope you like it.
