PLEIN AIR PALETTE KNIFE PAINTING by TOM BROWN

PAINTING WITH A PALETTE KNIFE is FUN and SIMPLE.
All I need are my paints and a knife. It’s quick and direct. There are no brushes to clean later, no solvents to mix or spill. I just open my paint box and get started. When I’m done I wipe the knife on a tissue and cleanup is complete.

It’s a fun way to capture something like this scene with a minimum of fuss. And I love the bold, pure strokes of juicy color the knife lays down so easily. The results are always eye-catching and fresh.

MY VIDEO SHOWS HOW I USE THE KNIFE. I demonstrate all my techniques, tips, secrets and shortcuts.

It’s a short video but it’s PACKED with information you can use right away.
-- I’ll show you types of knife styles available
-- you’ll watch my personal knife techniques as I paint,
-- you’ll see different ways I handle edge control,
-- I’ll show you how I use underpainting/overpainting,
-- you’ll see how I put figures into paintings,
-- I’ll show you how I paint on a toned surface (and also white panels),
-- I’ll demonstrate my different techniques to paint trees,
-- you’ll watch me create eye-catching surface texture,
-- and much more.
