This landscape oil paiting was created as a demonstration for other artists in a Plein Air Workshop I recently taught. I was showing the artists in my class how I approach a subject and capture the essence of the scene as directly as possible.

The "painted image" area is approximately 4x5.5 inches, with a border on all sides. The overall canvas measures about 5x7 inches and is not mounted or stretched.

If my art makes your day a bit brighter, or brings back a treasured memory, or gives you a moment's respite from the hectic pace of life, then I've succeeded to some small degree.
