I spotted this large black feather lying on rocks at the edge of a stream and realized that this intimate detail of Nature would make an interesting subject in its own right. The contrast between the delicacy of the fragile feather and the density of the rugged rocks was part of the charm. This is another one I was very pleased with, and I hope you like it too.
