HOW I PAINT PLEIN AIR by TOM BROWN

CLICK HERE to “Buy Now” or bid on this 5x7 oil painting.
Lots of you have asked about the mini paintbox I showed on my blog the other day. I have a variety of outdoor painting setups, but my all-time favorite is the one shown below. It mounts on a standard camera tripod, but it’s also light enough to simply hold in my hand while I paint. It’s made of aluminum, so it’s very lightweight but really takes a beating without damage. BTW it only cost about $20.

If you want the full details about this pochade box click this link. And for all the details about how I paint on location (en plein air) click this link.

By the way I appreciate all the emails everyone has sent, but I don’t carry a cell phone when I’m painting out on locations like this so you won’t be able to reach me then. But I always answer emails a.s.a.p. when I’m back on the computer, so feel free to email me any time with questions or comments.
