BOATS IN BALBOA HARBOR by TOM BROWN

This is Balboa Harbor in Newport Beach. I painted this one with thick, bold strokes of juicy oil paints that create a wonderful texture on the surface of the painting. And I used interesting color transitions throughout the trees and sky in the background. Lively pops of color throughout the boats and harbor add extra sparkle to this colorful scene.
