ABSTRACT LANDSCAPE by TOM BROWN

Sometimes the subject is just an excuse to play with rich juicy strokes of beautiful colors, and oil paints are the perfect medium for this. This particular piece tests the boundaries between realism and abstracts. And yet it follows the same principles that I use in traditional landscapes: focal point, secondary areas of interest, color continuity, value, movement, etc. And it really sparkles! This painting is an original oil on a 4x6 inch Bristol panel, and it's going to look great on someone’s wall. If you’d like to own it, simply click HERE.
   Thanks for looking.
