The other day I was painting in San Juan Capistrano, just
down the street from the famous Mission that the swallows return to each year. People
walking by stopped to chat and I enjoyed meeting and talking with them as I
painted. As I was putting the finishing touches on my painting one of them made
me an offer I couldn’t refuse, and my painting went home with them right off
the easel. I never got a final shot of it, but I’m posting some progress photos
here to give you an idea of the composition. Thanks for stopping to look. Maybe
one day we’ll meet on a street while I’m working.
