I used thick, juicy strokes of luscious oils to paint this colorful view of Saddleback Mountain near my home in Southern California. Some of the strokes were so bold it looks like they were nearly out of control. I like to do this at times, to bring strength to the painting. In workshops I teach I refer to this as "painting carefully with utter abandon." This painting will bring a breath of fresh air into any room of your home. Enjoy!
