This was a demonstration painting I did yesterday during a workshop I’m teaching. We were working from a photo taken by Teri, another art teacher who is attending my current workshop. In this piece I enjoyed using thick, juicy strokes of luscious oil paint in the flowers to create a dynamic physical texture on the surface of the canvas.
