I often work on paper or cardboard when doing “studies” like this. And as a result I can let them go for far lower prices than my larger studio work on canvas or panels. Prices anyone can afford if the painting speaks to them. I paint these to gather information for future studio work. Or simply for the pleasure of capturing the moment in a painting.
