I painted this during the Huntington Beach plein air invitational. I was struck by this unique subject, a World Famous landmark water tower that had been converted into a private home. It actually stands less than 50 yards from the beach. Couldn’t resist it. Check out the photos taken as the painting developed on location. I was very honored to have been one of the select artists invited to participate in this prestigious competition.
