TWO STUDIES. SAME SPOT, DIFFERENT DAYS. My sketchbook is so much fun! It’s my safe place to play, with no rules, no limits. And I find that oils are perfect for sketching because they’re so immediate. With just a few pigments I can easily match any color. And colors stay the same, they don’t change when they dry. Also when sketching I see things easy to overlook. Like the gentle shifts in color and light in these 2 studies. It keeps the magic alive!
