Here’s another
oldie but goodie from my studio walls. I painted this on-site at the El Toro
Marine Corps Air Station after filming episode #11 of my TV show that day. It
has been in my personal collection since then, and I have finally decided to
let it find a new home.
The El Toro Marine Corps Air Station
was quite famous. While it was active, every U.S. President in the post-WW II
era had visited this airfield.
The base had later been used as a
filming location for BBC’s “Top Gear” franchise, and has now become the Orange
County Great Park. This is a 10x16 inch oil painting on flat canvas.
