NEWPORT BEACH PAVILION (click here to bid on this painting)

Some days everything goes right! We arrived early and set up our easels at the water’s edge for the weekly Saturday morning Plein Air Workshop I teach. Across the channel was this view of our subject - the famous landmark Pavilion on Balboa peninsula.

The light was good, the sky had just enough weather to make it interesting, and as we worked we were entertained by an endless parade of dog-walkers, joggers and onlookers behind us. I hope you like this piece. Oh, and please tell your friends about my site. Thanks.
