MINIATURE PLEIN AIR LANDSCAPE (click here to buy)

SOLD

"ONE THAT ALMOST GOT AWAY " by Tom Brown
4.5x3 inch oil/paper

This small painting has big punch! I was struck by the colors of the scene and the massive tree leaning over a walking path at the edge of a canyon. But I was on my way somewhere else and my schedule didn’t allow for painting a full sized canvas. Rather than lose this scene forever I quickly captured the essentials in this miniature study using only a palette knife on paper. This painting measures just 4.5” wide by 3” high, but it packs a powerful punch.

This little jewel has been hanging on my studio wall since I painted it last summer, and I finally decided to offer it on eBay. With proper framing it will really come alive on your own wall, bringing a ray of sunshine and a breath of fresh air into your home. Enjoy the view; it almost got away! - Tom Brown.
