Years ago while visiting Morocco I did a series of small sketches with the intention of using them to create oil paintings at a later time. (Artist friends who know me are aware that I habitually carry a small sketch pad and pencil everywhere I go.)

I recently came across the sketches I did in Morocco and created this miniature oil painting in the studio from one of the sketches. It brings back exciting memories.
