This painting is one in my series of urban figurative
paintings. I love the hum, electricity and spark of the big city. The ebb and
flow of people. The excitement of things to come. And the mystery that awaits
with each new day.
I tried to capture some of those feelings in this painting. And I deliberately kept much of it very loose, almost abstract, to allow each viewer to add his or her own personal interpretation to the details within. I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed painting it.
