I couldn’t resist sketching this character when I spotted him in a local coffee shop. This is another one that began with a simple quick pencil sketch. Which I then painted over with oils. And I’m glad I did it that way, because he left before the painting was finished. I never had the chance to talk with him, but for all I know he could have simply been texting his Mom. Which gave me the idea for the title I gave this one. Anyway, thanks for stopping to look. I hope you like this and I hope you hear from someone today who brightens your day.
