SKETCHBOOK DOODLE by TOM BROWN

 Here’s a funny story about this piece. I usually don’t paint THIS SMALL, but while waiting in my car for someone I was doodling on a 3x5 notepad. Just to amuse myself. While sketching, I realized this might make a nice painting. So I pulled out my tiny painting kit and began adding color right over the pencil sketch. That’s easy to do with oils. Before I realized it, I had this charming little picture of the mall where I had parked. It was a fun way to pass the time!
