LANDSCAPE SKETCHBOOK STUDY by TOM BROWN

 This is another of my small sketchbook studies, done entirely with the palette knife. Painting with a knife is always enjoyable, especially for small quick sketchbook studies. The knife creates strong, dynamic strokes and texture. And it’s a terrific way to mix precise colors. For this study I used oil paints on a sheet of Mixed-Media paper from my sketchbook.
