CLICK HERE TO BUY TODAY’S PLEIN AIR PAINTING:
Two days ago I gave a few tips for kick-starting
your painting and taking things to the next level. If you missed it, take a
moment to scroll back and have a look.
Getting outside with your paints is one way to make some
changes. Today I’m showing another example of that.
I did this little gem down at the beach. The smell of
salt air, sea gulls circling overhead, the warmth of the sun on my shoulders –
there’s nothing like it. All the senses are involved and it always seems to add
a special something extra to the paintings.
I hope you can feel the same sense of joy in this one
that I felt when painting it. And I hope you’ll give it a try yourself. It
might just be the thing that adds a bit of freshness to your work if you’ve
gotten into a rut.
