This is a slightly unusual subject: cars in a parking lot
framed by trees. But I was struck by the large palm growing wild at the edge of
this parking lot near the ocean. And I decided to do a painting of it on the
spot. I wanted to capture the overall effect of the light, color and subject. I
was quite pleased with the way this painting turned out. Hope you find it
