I like to filter reality when I paint. I’m not interested in showing what a camera can
see; I want to show my own version of things. My emotional reaction to the
subject. For example in this case I chose to ignore the lamp post, traffic on
the street and other things that didn’t contribute to what I found visually
appealing. This is “my version of the truth.” Hope you like it. And even if you
