Artists: If you live in the Orange County area, here’s an unexpected opportunity to attend a new oil painting workshop with me. It’s an 8-week studio workshop to be held on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30, beginning October 12 at the Irvine Fine Arts Center.

This will be a duplicate of another workshop also starting that week, which was sold out very early and had a long waiting list. To accommodate the overflow of artists on the waiting list for the other workshop, I’ve been asked to conduct this additional workshop. It was just now opened to enrollment. So if you’re interested and available on Monday evenings, here’s your chance.

I’ll show you how to paint beautiful pictures using five critical secrets of color mixing and brushwork. I’ll share all my inside tips, tricks and techniques, including how to compose powerful paintings, my personal tips on handling brushwork, and much more.
