 Here’s another page from my sketchbook. I wanted to add a bit of mystery to this one. And some charm. I wanted to show this town in a way that a camera can’t see it. That’s one of the joys of using oils in my sketchbook; it’s easy to take a complex subject and play with it like this. And when you get a “keeper” you can frame it. A VISTA FROM MY TV SHOW by TOM BROWN

 We filmed an episode of my TV show here as I painted this stunning vista. That was a while back. I always wanted to return and paint it again, with no cameras rolling. In peace and quiet.
